Harry Cleare

PGA Associate Professional

Harry is the PGA Associate Professional at Kurri Golf Club, currently finishing his third and final year of the program under the mentorship of Head Professional, Leigh Newman.

Harry‘s playing record since beginning his traineeship includes a win of the 2024 Charlestown Pro-Am, as well as victories in 2025 at both the Mona Vale and Campbelltown Associate matches. More recently, Harry won the 2026 Royal Sydney Associate match, finishing as the only player under par.

His competitive experience gives him a valuable insight into what it really takes to lower your scores, whether you
are a social golfer or club champion. Harry takes a simple and individualised approach to coaching, and believes in adapting
every lesson to the golfer, as no two swings are the same.

Whether you’re picking up a club for the first time, want to lower your handicap, or work towards being a pennants player, Harry’s aim is to make golf more enjoyable by helping you improve your game.
