KURRI GOLF CLUB – COURSE AND ENVIRONS PLAN

Please find attached an amalgamation negotiation Terms Sheet and a Course Plan. The objective of the Terms Sheet is twofold as it will provide the basis for the ‘Special Conditions’ in any required amalgamation deed and convey to a prospective amalgamated club the expectations of the members of Kurri Golf Club in negotiating a successful amalgamation outcome. As a prospective parent club you will be expected to, in any amalgamation offer, commit to the intent or requirements of the items identified in the Terms Sheet. The Course Plan identifies most of the issues and options required for improvements to the Course and its environs. For the Club, as a stand-alone entity, it would equate to a feasible ten year strategy. Commitment to the Course Plan by a parent club is critical to the amalgamation process as it is the key issue to gain members’ support and is instrumental in our decision to deal with and transfer our Core Property. The elements identified in the Course Plan have not been scoped in detail, their costs are indicative and approximate and there is a mixture of operational and capital expenditure. A business plan, as an amalgamation offer, needs to clearly identify the cost benefit to the members of course improvements as proposed by the Course Plan whether operational or capital. The Club would expect an overall value commitment to the Course Plan over a three year period. There is no need to cost individual elements of the plan. Offers must be lodged with the Club by 5pm Friday 30th July 2021. In the interim if you require further information or clarification regarding the Terms Sheet or Course Plan please contact Don Wyper or myself.
