The format for the 2023 Championships is subject to review by the Match Committee. Any changes will be published on our website and in the clubhouse. Daily handicaps on the first day (7 th October) will determine the grade you play in for the whole Club Championships Gross event. For example, Daily handicap +6 to 12 is A Grade, 13 to 18 is B Grade and 19 to 36 is C Grade.

Note: players stay in the grade they play in on 7 th October for the accumulation of the 3 Championship rounds

Separate prizes will be awarded for the best 18-hole scratch (gross) winner on 7 th October as per normal Monthly Medal rounds.

The 14th and the 21st will be STABLEFORD rounds for the daily prizes but you must finish out each hole and record a stroke score to contest the championship events . This allows members who cannot play all 3 rounds or have had a poor 1st round and would normally pull out of stroke rounds.

For players who have entered the championship but for whatever reason has failed to finish a hole and therefore will only have a Stableford score there will be a 54-hole Stableford Champion winner over the field.

Major prizes will also be awarded to the A Grade, B Grade, C Grade, Junior, and Senior player with the best scratch score over 54-holes. If any of these sections are drawn, the winner will be decided in an 18 Hole Playoff to be played on or before the following Saturday. All other prizes will be determined by C/B starting with the last 18 Hole score.

These prizes will be awarded at the end of the Round 3 presentation!
